| Close Date Radiologist (Western Memorial Regional Hospital) Corner Brook Radiology (Diagnostic) Until Filled The Western Regional Health Authority, Department of Diagnostic Imaging invites applications from Radiologists to work at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, Newfoundland, Canada. You would be joining a dynamic progressive group of seven (7) Radiologists as the eighth (8) member in a hospital based, fee-for-service practice covering the west coast of Newfoundland. The patient population catchment is approximately 82,000 people with Province wide referrals accepted. The department has state of the art equipment including a 320 slice CT, two 64 slice CT and a 1.5 T MRI. Progressive programs are encouraged with expansion in all disciplines of Medical Imaging. Scope of practice includes plain film radiology, barium studies, ultrasound, mammography, CT, MRI and basic biopsy/drainage procedures. Nuclear Medicine experience would also be an asset. Western Memorial Regional Hospital, a 192 bed regional referral centre for Western Newfoundland provides services to a population base of approximately 82,000 people.
