| Radiation Therapist x 3 Status Temporary Full Time File Number UNEX-120000131/132/133 Location Oshawa Wage Schedule $29.48 - $40.38 per hour Program Durham Regional Cancer Services Country CANADA POSITION SUMMARY To perform all aspects of the radiation treatment process: patient care, patient education,simulation, treatment planning, treatment delivery and treatment monitoring within the regional radiation therapy program (Oshawa/Peterborough) in compliance with the Standards of Practice of the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario. ? DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES perform all radiation treatment and planning procedures to ensure accurate delivery of a prescribed course of radiation therapy including: simulation, treatment delivery, basic dosimetry and brachytherapy; maintain an accurate record of all aspects of the treatment procedure, calculations, dose and all other relevant information; educate patients in all aspects of their prescribed treatment in accordance with the teaching standards as set out in MDRCC policy; interpret, assess and verify all treatment parameters, including dose distribution, simulation images, treatment accessories and R&V data; assess patie.... |
