| Qualifications: Current registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba. A comprehensive knowledge of nursing theory and practice. Demonstrated skill with advanced effective and supportive communication and interpersonal relationships. Demonstrated advanced competence in clinical practice and leadership abilities. Educational and/ or practice preparation for palliative care provision. Current certification in BCLS. This position is subject to a Criminal Record Check. The successful candidate will be responsible for any service charges incurred Duties: Plans, provides, coordinates and evaluates comprehensive compassionate palliative care for the Hospice resident, ensuring that optimal quality of life care, integrating the social family, is provided in accordance with current: -Grace Hospice Mission and Vision statements -CRNM Standards of Nursing Care -CNA Code of Nursing Ethics -Canadian Hospice and Palliative Care Nursing Standards -Nursing knowledge guided by best practice and evidence-based practice Paper resumes will no longer be accepted.
