| RN - Operating Room Posting #: 802 Location: Charlton Campus Position Details # of openings: 5 Time of Day: Reg/Temp/Casual: Regular Shift Length: Full/Part Time: Part Time Department: OPERATING ROOM Union: ONA Open Date: 02/02/12 Hours of Work: Extended Hours & Rotating Shifts Closing Date: 09/02/12 Description QUALIFICATIONS • Current registration in the Province of Ontario • Must have operating room nursing certificate • BScN an asset • Minimum of 1-year current O.R. experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience • Laser certification would be an asset • Canadian Perioperative Nursing Certification an asset • Familiarity with McKesson PHS/HSM systems, and/or Windows based computer competencies • Demonstrates ability to function effectively within a multi-disciplinary team • Demonstrates ability to function in emergency and highly stressful situations • Good attendance and work record is essential • A resume regarding further education, special courses and experience should accompany the application NOTE: Hours of work will include rotating shifts.
