| RESEARCH DEVELOPMENT AND LIAISON OFFICER (Three-Year Contractual Position) DUTIES Reporting to the Associate Dean (Research) and working closely with the Office of the Vice-President (Research), particularly the Office of Research Services (ORS) and the Office of Collaborations and Partnerships (OCP), the successful candidate will have administrative responsibilities associated with research and development activities within the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science (FEAS). Duties include working with faculty members to identify major funding opportunities, particularly those offered by NSERC, RDC, ACOA, PRNL, AIF, CFI, and industry; formulating and organizing applications to take advantage of such opportunities; supporting faculty members in establishing appropriate project management for research initiatives; preparing necessary documentation for the establishment of research accounts in FEAS associated with successful proposals, including all necessary clearance; working with researchers to prepare post-award reports as required by the funding partners; supporting the Office of the Vice-President (Research) in the preparation of letters of intent, MOUs, IP agreements, resea.... |
