| REGISTERED SONOGRAPHER COMPETITION NO: 11-690 STATUS : Permanent Part Time (2) DEPARTMENT : Ultrasound - Obstetrics PROGRAM : Woman and Child Program REPORTS TO : Manager, Woman and Child Program HOURS : Days; 7.5 Hour Shifts JOB SUMMARY: To produce excellent ultrasound images of designated anatomical areas as directed, according to established practices and procedures within the maternal fetal medicine specialty. QUALIFICATIONS: Diploma from an accredited ultrasound program. Registration with ARDMS required. Active membership in CARDUP required. Active membership in CSDMS preferred Active membership in OSDMS preferred Minimum 5 years current related hospital experience in OB/GYN including Maternal Fetal Medicine experience. Certification in nucal translucency (NT) required. Ability to work well independently as well as with the team in a fast paced environment. Competent in both written and oral communication. Demonstrates behaviours consistent with York Central Hospital ?s Code of Conduct. Proven attendance record. Ability to perform the essential duties of the job.
