| REGISTERED NURSE COMPETITION NO: 11-695 STATUS : Permanent Part Time PROGRAM : Chronic Kidney Disease Program - Vaughan Satellite REPORTS TO : Manager, Chronic Kidney Disease SALARY : $29.36 - $41.70 per hour HOURS : Days, Evenings and Weekends 7.5 and 11.25 Hour Shifts (On-call as required) JOB SUMMARY: To provide a high quality of nursing care to patients and their families utilizing the nursing process, following established standards of practice both within the hospital and the profession. QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate of a recognized diploma/degree program in nursing. Current general certificate of registration from the college of Nurses of Ontario. Recent dialysis experience preferred. 2-3 years experience in acute medical/surgical or complex chronic care nursing. Successful completion of Nephrology 1 and 2 preferred. Primary assignment is Vaughan site however based on operational needs may be required to work at YCH main site and Oak Ridges. Interest in working with acute and chronic patients in a hemodialysis environment. Demonstrates behaviours consistent with York Central Hospital’s Code of Conduct. Proven attendance record.
