December 19, 2011 Position Title: Quality Control Supervisor Location: Vavenby, BC Closing Date: January 27, 2012 General Reporting to the Planer Superintendent you will be working to maximize profit and product quality by optimizing production and grade standards to meet current market demands and customer requirements. Major Duties: Develop and improve management systems that optimize production and grade outturn Supervision of quality control processes in the Planer as required Ensure the regular monitoring and tracking of machine centre performance Perform regular grade checks to improve grade accuracy and outturn of Comact Grade Expert Work closely with other supervisors to ensure safety, quality and production standards are understood and achieved Provide leadership in safety by adhering to an upholding all safe work policies and procedures and addressing any unsafe acts or conditions Qualifications: The successful candidate will bring the following experience and expertise: Experience in planer mill optimization Excellent interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills Well developed peop.... |
