Posted Date: 1/25/2012 Category: Laboratory Operations - Quality More information about this job: Overview : The incumbent is responsible for performing quality assurance testing on food and non-food samples. This position reports directly to the Supervisor or Operations Manager of the QA department. Responsibilities : Perform basic chemical analyses and sensory evaluation of food and non-food samples. 2. Prepare sample for analysis and analyze according to procedures and methods. 3. Evaluate product quality based on organoleptic testing, packaging integrity, labeling and regulatory requirements, performance and client specifications. 4. Be prepared to communicate product issues or concerns with the department supervisor and/or client representative. 5. Collection of samples from warehouses and stores will be required. 6. Store and warehouse inspections based on the requirements of the clients may be required and preparation of written reports on the findings of such inspections. 7.
