| Position Summary THE OPPORTUNITY: Be part of the exciting growth and expansion of the Horizon Oil Sands. With your contribution we will see incremental production gains to approximately 250,000 bbl/d. Further phases of expansion will bring the ultimate plant capacity to 500,000 bbl/d. The QA (Quality Assurance) Specialist will act as a key part of the QA team working closely with many diverse disciplines. The role will provide QA support to Sustaining Capital Projects on the Horizon Site, resolving day-to-day issues and assisting in work management from scope development to turnover. HOW WILL YOU MAKE YOUR MARK? ?Quality Assurance of all sustaining capital projects ?Implement Audit Program to measure quality performance of contractors and suppliers ?Assist in the maintenance of all quality records, and any other technical records as required to support reliability and integrity efforts ?Promote quality awareness and continuous improvement to influence overall project success ?Liaise with QA Team, Sustaining Capital Teams, Maintenance & Operations and contractors QUALIFICATIONS: ?15+ years of experience in QA with experience in Project office and site QA ?Post Secondary education wi.... |
