| Purchasing Clerk Job Type: Term Job Location: Winnipeg MB Job Description: Our client located in Winnipeg is looking for a Purchasing Clerk. The ideal candidate will be positive, friendly and be able to cope with a busy workload. This is a full time, term position. Duties and Responsibilities: Complete daily workload accurately, and on a time basis, to support targets for P.O. validity, past due and planned late orders, MRB, requisitions, P.O. creation, UOR ?s, variances and matching holds, and others as assigned Develop and sustain a professional relationship with Suppliers and Customers towards proper execution of tasks assigned Resolve supply related issues with the supplier and escalate concerns on parts that will not meet need date; flag for visibility Report status of parts delivery in Oracle to support the Leads at the daily parts meeting and help set plant priorities Identify suppliers that underperform or have poor delivery; work with the Lead to have suppliers create an improvement plan Work with staff in other departments to complete tasks, resolve problems and support process improvements Submit Engineering documentation, (new parts releases or changes) to Suppliers on.... |
