| Property Accounting Technician Our client is a progressive property management firm dedicated to providing Owners and Tenants with knowledgeable advice and professional service; they are searching for a Property Accounting Technician to join their organization and manage their own assigned portfolio. Responsibilities: Accounting team lead for an assigned portfolio of buildings. Monthly reporting. Overseeing AP and AR. Bank reconciliations. Management of cash flow to fulfill all monthly liability obligations. Posting monthly standard journal entries, auto-withdrawal invoices and standard invoices Preparing and posting the monthly mortgage entries Providing information to property managers as needed for compiling monthly management reports. Calculating and posting distributions- monthly, quarterly and annually Reconciling property tax expense accounts upon receipt of annual statement Assisting with year end cost reconciliations Assisting team members as needed. Requirements: Post secondary education in accounting; Working towards a professional accounting designation ideal or equivalent work experience. Educated and experienced with Microsoft Word & Excel; Good communication and orga.... |
