| Promotions Assistant Business Units: Radio Location: Ottawa (Ont) # of openings: 1 End Date: 03/02/12 Description PROMOTIONS ASSISTANT (Permanent part-time position) Reports to : Promotions Director Address: 1504 Merivale Road Ottawa, Ontario K2E 6Z5 Responsibilities : Assisting the Promotions department in street promotions and special events - tech. support, sound system and visibility (Ottawa); Setting up remotes (Gatineau and Ottawa); Assisting the Engineer in Live Broadcast setups (Gatineau and Ottawa); Related duties as assigned and directed by the immediate supervisor. Skill Requirements: Minimum 2 years experience in radio promotions or remote setup; A College degree in advertising, radio or broadcasting an asset; A good working knowledge of sound systems and broadcast equipment; Knowledge of Microsoft Office; Must have a valid driver’s license; Works well under pressure and able to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment; Good interpersonal skills and a positive, friendly manner that will allow you to deal with challenging situations and with different personalities; Resourceful; Superior time management skills; Bilingual in French and English.
