| Job Overview We are currently looking for a Project Manager to join this large oil and gas company for a 6 month contract . In this Project Manager role you will plan, execute, and finalize IT Field Infrastructure projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring project resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and suppliers in order to deliver according to plan. Projects in this Program enable IT infrastructure and services to several key business units under the following conditions: new field administrative offices or camp facilities field equipment enablement field office moves field office system and equipment upgrades temporary field infrastructure for short term activity (i.e. winter drilling) Some of the daily responsibilities of this Project Manager include: Gain an in-depth understanding of assigned projects and directly oversee quality control throughout their life cycle Manage expectations of stakeholders and constantly monitor, report, and communicate on the project status and challenges to appropriate stakeholders Employ financial management best practices to manage project budgets, observing the client ?s reporting and co.... |
