| Project Manager, Safe Kids Canada Date Posted: 2012-02-03 Employment Type: Temporary Fixed-term (0.8 ? 1.0 FTE) Hours per Week: 35 hours per week (1.0 FTE), Contract until October 2014 Department: Safe Kids Canada Available: Immediately Description of Position: The Project Manager is responsible for managing a multi-year, large scale project and is accountable for the planning and implementation of project initiatives. The incumbent must interface with a wide variety of project stakeholders to ensure project timelines and deliverables are met. Some responsibilities include: ? Establishing project plans (calendars, resource schedules, budgets, other reports, etc) to ensure project timelines and deliverables are met ? Complete detailed report writing to determine learning ?s and best practices for implementation in future projects. ? Liaise with various stakeholders including community groups, advisory committee members and government officials where necessary ? Develop and implement a knowledge translation strategy to promote best/promising practices and tools. ? Communicate project results to the Project ?s Executive Lead and all project stakeholders ?
