| POSITION SUMMARY: The Scotiabank Group is seeking a Project Leader . This position belongs to a dynamic development team that develops and supports various applications for Scotia Capital's Prime Brokerage line of business. The incumbent will lead the development and support of various Prime Brokerage applications. He/She must be able to interact with various people like Business Analysts, Users, vendors, and Production Support Team. It is essential for the incumbent to be proactive, eager to learn, and to have a 'Can Do' attitude. The incumbent will be required to participate in a support RIM rotation. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Lead new development initiatives and provide solution and design Lead daily system support and change request Coordinate with other teams and stakeholders to analyze requirement or resolve system issues Develop cost effective applications and provide technical specs and designs Provide technical support to applications in Production and User Acceptance Testing Implement systems by reviewing other developers' code, planning, and documentation Provide technical guidance to other team members FUNCTIONAL COMPENTENCIES: Team lead experience.
