| Project Engineer/Professional (2 Positions) Posted Date: 13-01-2012 Location: Pinawa, Manitoba, Canada Description: Duties The Project Engineer/Professional has responsibility for planning and executing engineering activities and deliverables with project scope, schedule, cost and quality objectives, and reports directly to the WL Projects Manager. S/he is expected to perform the following types of activities. · Develop and manage Project work packages including deliverables, estimates, budgets, resourcing needs and schedules. · Prepare and review technical documents (e.g. technical scopes of work, feasibility studies, design drawings, etc.). · Provide technical support and surveillance during the design, procurement, construction and commissioning phases of projects. · Interface with subject-matter-experts in a variety of technical areas (e.g. compliance and radiation protection, nuclear licensing, quality assurance, etc.), and obtain technical input as required. · Provide direction and oversight to other professional and technical staff on large-scale projects. · Assess equipment and material selection options and make recommendations. &.... |
