| Project Coordinator (Repost) Facilities Management -Newnham Campus Posting Date: Nov 24, 2011 Closing Date: Open Until Filled Reporting to the Manager, Design & Construction, the incumbent provides technical support and project administration assistance to the department. Duties include performing field measurement verifications, generating, cataloguing and updating drawings, tender documents, specifications, databases, budgets, quotations, schedules and associated documentation to be used by contractors and internal staff for the implementation of new construction and renovation projects across all campuses. The incumbent must have strong communication (written and oral), interpersonal, analytical, organizational and technical skills to be able to work collaboratively with both internal and external resources to ensure the timely, successful completion of projects and assigned tasks. Specific Accountabilities: • Surveys jobs sites and performs field measurement verifications. Frequent local travel to all campuses will be required. Prepares concept to final design drawings, drawn to scale, for use by contractors and in-house staff for new construction and renovation projects i.... |
