| Project Accountant Location: CA - Alberta Department: Administration Employment Duration: Full time # of Openings: 1 Description POSITION OVERVIEW: The Project Accountant p erforms field accounting including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and other, as assigned, office functions at project level per accounting deadlines and standardized procedures. EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE: The Project Accountant is required to have a minimum high school diploma with 2 years experience in related accounting and/or business role or, post secondary education in business management, accounting or similar. This position requires a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel with the ability to create complex formulas and a basic knowledge of all other Microsoft applications. Previous experience working with an accounting or finance software or database is mandatory. This person should have a basic understanding of sales tax laws and legislation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and union contract administration (labour law).
