| Project Accountant Downtown Oil & Gas 3-6 Month Contract 2-3 Years Exp. in Controller Positions Needed One of our largest clients, a major player in the oil and gas industry, is looking for a Project Accountant. This role will be a key player in the project controller's team reporting to the Senior Project Accountant. The right candidate for the position will work with the Senior Project Accountant to implement and execute an effective and timely contract assessment program and exception stewarrdship process as appropriate to the key project contracts. The Project Accountant ensures the adequacy of financial controls and procedures followed by the Prime Contractor. The Project Accountant performs necessary audit/attest procedures to ensure compliance with the terms and conditions of the agreement. Duties & Responsibilities: Administer sound control systems and procedures at the contractor's office Promote sound control policies and practices within the project and with contractors Developing and maintaining individual Invoice Control Reports by type of charges for each project under the agreement Developing and maintaining report on retention/holdback accounts Performing necessary .... |
