The Project Accountant will be responsible for the following: - Prepare accurate and timely project budgets for Project Managers - Prepare performance forecasts for projects - Prepare monthly reports including, Cost Trend, A/R, milestone status, and updates to the fiscal budget - Assist Project Managers in the preparation of the project plans and progress reports - Maintain and reconcile project cost reports - Co-ordinate invoicing and billing schedules Job Description: The ideal candidate must have the following qualifications: - Must be enrolled in the 3rd or 4th level of a professional accounting program - At least two to four years of accounting related experience - Experience with cost and/or project accounting an asset - Excellent time management and prioritization skills, and the ability to work under pressure and meet numerous deadlines - Strong verbal and written communication skills .... |
