| Programmer Contact/Scientist: Dr. Matt Hogan Program: Neuroscience The OHRI has an immediate opening for a Programmer. This is a one-year, full-time, non-union contract position with the opportunity for renewal. Brief Job Description: This position is for an experienced Database/Web/Systems Developer with a strong background in Java, scripting languages, SQL and XML. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the development and management of a multi-project integrating database infrastructure to support the Centre for Stroke Recovery (CSR), a virtual stroke research organization that integrates clinicians and researchers at the Rotman Research Centre and KLARU at Baycrest, Sunnybrook, University of Ottawa and Ottawa Hospital Research Institute and is supported by the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario (http://www.heartandstroke-centrestrokerecovery.ca/). The successful candidate will work in a small, distributed team and collaborate with the scientists, clinicians and prospective users.
