| Procurement Specialist This position presents an opportunity to participate in a growth oriented organization and to gain exposure and understanding of the energy industry. This role is ideally suited to a knowledgeable, career-oriented procurement professional seeking a challenging opportunity. Reporting to the Director, Procurement of the Canadian Operations, the Procurement Specialist will be responsible for supporting the procurement of goods and services for the Canadian Operations. Responsibilities: Selection and management of required suppliers/vendors who have the capacity and capability to meet the material and subcontract needs of the business; Maintenance of the RFP process to support the company’s risk and cost mitigation efforts; Employ systems to evaluate vendor quotations and utilize appropriate negotiation and purchasing techniques to ensure quality, price, delivery and service requirements are met; Development and implementation of procurement standards and processes in collaboration with the company’s stakeholders and the procurement teams in other business units; Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures when preparing all contractual doc.... |
