Our client is looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer for a 6 months to 1 year contract with posssible extensions. Job Description: Th e candidate would create and capture mechanical designs for electronic printed circuit boards and mechanical enclosures (pieceparts and assemblies) for telecom, networking and server type products . Job Duties: Part of a team to deliver a physical packaging solution which meets the customer’s specifications Responsible to design and detail pieceparts and assemblies of the design from inception to production · Capture design with 3D models and 2D dimensioned drawings Interface with manufacturing to ensure smooth introduction into production Must comprehensively possess some of the following skills Enclosure design for telecom, networking products Very proficient in solid modeling software (ProE Wildfire) Mechanical feature capture for PCBs including performing interference checks with imported layout files Sheet met.... |
