| Position Power Systems Designer/Drafter Job ID# 1202 Reporting To Operations Manager, Electric Power Key Accountabilities Perform well supervised tasks to assist the Senior Engineers in completing engineering calculations and drawings Complete the design of 2-3 projects on an ongoing basis with the Electric Power, Mining and Marine Teams Update Production Shop as-shipped drawings, as-installed field drawings Assist in the preparation of O&M Manuals and support the shop instruction process Perform well defined tasks to assist the Engineering Supervisor in reducing the department's engineering backlog Research suppliers of unique materials for active projects Coordinate and execute internal initiatives to maintain the engineer library, iMACS improvements, engineering research and volunteer for Corporate activities (ie United Way) Collaborate with the Commercial Team and other cross functional teams to improve the quality of products and services, efficiencies and reduce costs to ensure superior delivery to the customers Participate in Toromont CAT training to continually improve skills and knowledge of the industry, the products and services Maintain personal skills development matri.... |
