JOB DESCRIPTION As the Power Engineer, you would be required to: Receive and properly file all documentation requirements Operating and troubleshooting utility equipment (Boilers, Precipitators, Deaerators, Steam Turbine Generators, Turbine Drivers) Troubleshooting minor problems and performing minor maintenance Be willing to train and operate on new posts Provide timely reports and post logs as required Follow all safety requirements at all times QUALIFICATIONS Minimum 4th Class Power Engineering Certificate High School Diploma or equivalent Excellent communication skills (oral and written) Team mentality Ability to work 12 hour shifts (night and/or day) Previous experience in Oil and Gas field considered an asset This is a contract position and is based in Fort McMurray, Alberta.
