| Postdoctoral Fellow, Computational Cancer Proteomi - Toronto, Ontario Position: Postdoctoral Fellow, Computational Cancer Proteomics Site: MaRS Centre, Toronto Department: Informatics & Bio-computing Reports To: Dr. Paul Boutros Salary: Commensurate with level of experience Hours: 35 Hrs/week Status: Full-time, Contract (2 years) The Ontario Institute for Cancer Research (OICR) is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow in Computational Cancer Biology in the laboratory of Dr. Paul Boutros at the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research (OICR). This position involves the analysis of cutting-edge mass-spectroscopy proteomic data from head-and-neck, prostate, and other cancer types. Our proteomic data is generated using a non-gel approach for mixture analysis, called MudPIT, in the laboratory of Dr. Thomas Kislinger (University of Toronto), and the successful candidate will be involved deeply in the primary and integrative analysis of these data. In many cases we have matched genomic data, including mRNA expression microarrays, whole genome-sequencing (Illumina Hi-Seq), and some RNAi functional screen data.
