| Title Policy Research Analyst - 12-S-01 Competition Number 12-S-01 Campus/Site Progress Position Summary Office of Policies, Academic Excellence Unit The Office of Policies is seeking to fill the position of Policy Research Analyst. The successful candidate will assume responsibility for the research and analysis function of the College`s policy development process, in addition to acting as the project manager for policies developed under this process. This position also includes responsibility for the planning, design and implementation of research projects in support of special long term organizational change initiatives. Responsibilities Conducts extensive and comprehensive research gathering data from secondary sources using library database systems, cataloguing systems and the internet Regularly monitors and reviews academic listserves to identify legislative changes with potential to impact college policy environment; Clarifies policy related issues, generates and analyzes policy options and recommends various courses of action through policy briefings, written reports of presentations Produces drafts of new and revised policies, documents changes to policies throughout devel.... |
