Develop class/line-level seasonal plans and estimates for sales, gross profit, inventory, receipts and open-to-buy, consistent with corporate timing and cadence. With the aim establishing the correct framework to drive profitable sales and optimize the purchase quantity and distribution of product, the planner develops seasonal merchandise plans and Key Item plans, as well as forecasts the in-season open-to-buy. The Planner also conducts regular and ad hoc analysis, at the appropriate level of detail, to monitor business and product performance and develop proposals that capitalize on opportunities and mitigate risk.
