Department: Physiotherapy Available: Immediately Description of Position: 15 hours per week (0.4 FTE); Four mornings per week; Contract until June 2012 with possibility of renewal. We are recruiting an Intervention Physiotherapist to work on a study for Physical Activity to Modify Sequelae and QOL in Childhood ALL. As the successful candidate you will provide physiotherapy consultation, assessment and intervention to children with movement dysfunction related to neurological, musculoskeletal or cardiorespiratory conditions. In addition, you will provide developmental interventions and promote optimal health and function for children. You will work in collaboration with other members of the health care team, including the child and family. You are expected to integrate research into practice and create, utilize and/or disseminate new knowledge. You are also expected to participate in the evening and weekend cardiorespiratory physiotherapy coverage.
