This position is located in Iqaluit and reports to the Manager Rehabilitation Services. The position requires self-
direction, initiative and the ability to work within an interdisciplinary rehabilitation department and team. The incumbent
will maintain a general case load, provide some graduate student supervision and be expected to be able to effectively
communicate with physicians, nurses, community health representatives, home & community care staff, teachers, and
individuals assisting identified clients at the Rehabilitation Centre, Regional Hospital, Public Health Clinic, Community
Health Centres, elders’ residences, group homes, schools, day cares, and in private homes. The incumbent is
responsible for decisions regarding all aspects of client care in physiotherapy; assessment and treatment programs.
This also includes developing and delivering skills training workshops to transfer rehabilitation knowledge to families,
communities, home-care workers, people with disabilities, community members, organizations and other health
