| Physician - District Palliative Care A rewarding and excellent career opportunity exists with the Palliative Care Team of Annapolis Valley Health: POSITION SCOPE: As a Palliative Care Physician, you will report to the Vice President, Medicine and be responsible to provide palliative care within the District in support of the mission, vision, values and strategic directions of Annapolis Valley Health. You will champion strategies and service delivery of palliative care in AVH. QUALIFICATIONS: Medical Doctor, licensed in Nova Scotia; or willing to obtain privilege status. Recent and relevant progressive palliative care experience in a healthcare organization. Knowledge and understanding of the current health system in Nova Scotia, including acute care, primary health care, continuing care and population health. Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strategic partnership and collaborative working relationships with internal and community partners. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
