Manages ongoing changes to the schedule. Interacts closely with chief residents, staff and clinical assistants. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Scheduling: Process leave requests and maintain statistics Prepare call schedules for several disciplines in a timely manner and according to: PAIRO guidelines Requirements of the service and program Level of trainee or clinical assistant Replace calls in the event of sickness on short notice, to ensure call is covered at all times and appropriately staffed All updates to the original call schedule will be communicated to all parties Become proficient with call schedule software for data entry Administrative: Maintain records of previous call schedules in written and electronic format (statistics) Collaborate closely with faculty, chief residents, postgraduate medical education and subspecialty servic.... |
