Due to an upcoming maternity leave they require an experienced Payroll Manager to manage there team of 2. Job description Reporting to the Senior Manager of Benefits and Pensions your responsibilities will include but are not limited to: • Manage the full cycle payroll processing for 1500+ bi-weekly, predominantly unionized, employees. • Oversee and approve all required reporting for month end and ensure accuracy of data. • Manage, coach and evaluate a team of 2 experienced payroll professionals • Oversee preparation of year end summaries, benefits enrolments and other regulatory requirements. • Champion new system processes and recommend potential improvements to reduce reporting timelines. • Work cross functionally with HR and other departments to ensure smooth delivery of reporting and potential payroll issues. • Be first point of contact for manager and employee enquires.
