| Party Chief/Geomatics Technician Universal Surveys Inc. has been providing comprehensive preliminary engineering, legal and construction surveying services to the oil and gas industry since 1986. We are currently looking for a motivated individual to fill a Party Chief/Geomatics Technician position(s) out of our Calgary/Edmonton office(s). Reporting to the Project Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for: The collection and management of field data on legal and construction survey projects. The integrity and quality of all field work performed. Preparation of field notes, field sketches and digital data through the use of various types of instrumentation and formats. Requirements: The ideal candidate will have a minimum 3 years experience as a Survey Party Chief in the oil & gas industry. Ideally a graduate of a post secondary program related to engineering technologies. Have an understanding of legal and/or construction surveying. Have experience with the latest survey equipment. Experience using Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word and Excel. Preferred qualities: Positive attitude, problem solving skills and attention to detail. Acceptable time manag.... |
