| POSITION DETAIL Parts Counterperson - Edmonton Department: Parts Location: Edmonton, AB Job Type: Full Time Professional Areas: Parts Description: Position Summary Sells parts to customers by providing technical expertise and customer service to ensure profitable sale of parts and development of long-term customer relationships. Responsibilities Sells parts to customers and builds customer relationships by correctly identifying parts needed, taking orders, creating invoices, billing out freight, and collecting payment. Inputs lost sales (e.g. due to no stock) into Karmak business system. (65%) Performance Coaching Standards Positive customer feedback and repeat business Invoicing is done accurately and timely Sales are received and profits are recognized 100% freight recovery on all incoming orders Records lost sales in Karmak to ensure Purchasers know there is no stock of certain parts and can re-order Ensure company policies are explained to customer upfront so no customer states that they were unaware of the policy No price overrides to reduce pricing without a legitimate business reason (e.g. do not reduce $0.10 terminal to $0.08 because you feel it will make the customer happi.... |
