| PUBLIC HEALTH NURSE (SEXUAL HEALTH & HARM REDUCTION) Casual Part-time (5 Positions) LOCATION: 99 Regina St. S., Waterloo/150 Main St. , Cambridge Provides Public Health Nursing services in the delivery of division programs, specifically the Sexual Health & Harm Reduction Program. Provides individual sexual health counselling, referrals and clinical sexual health services. Work involves client assessment, assisting with examinations, dispensing medications; counsels and refers around sensitive abortion, STD 's, sexual assault, child abuse, and drug abuse issues. Reviews charts and laboratory results and takes appropriate actions. Coordinates follow up lab reports, prescriptions needed, and information released to family physicians or specialists. Participates in planning and implementation of a variety of community-wide and school based health promotion activities. Maintains client records, completes documentation, reports and statistics. Participates in research and evaluation activities. High levels of concentration and attention to detail are required while planning, implementing, and evaluating program delivery.
