Midland Transport is currently seeking a Casual Freight Handler at our Truro, NS location. The selected candidate will be a self-starter with a strong work ethic and a “Can Do” attitude. Successful Candidate will possess the following qualifications: • Minimum High School Diploma; • Two years experience as a freight handler; • Fork lift certification an asset; • Attentive to details; • Able to read and write clearly to complete paper work; • Committed to working safely. Key Responsibilities: • Complete all tasks associated with loading and unloading of trailers in preparation for delivery; • Reefer checks; • Shunt trailers/straight trucks in the yard.
