| PROPERTY MANAGER (WATERLOO REGION HOUSING) Full-time LOCATION: 235 King St., E., Kitchener Provides effective and efficient property management operations and lease administration functions, and maintains positive tenant relations in a designated Waterloo Region Housing (WRH) portfolio of community housing units. Conducts annual income and family composition reviews; signs tenant leases. Collects rents, rental arrears, maintenance charges, and takes appropriate action to resolve tenant arrears issues. Takes legal action as required. Investigates and resolves tenancy issues and violations under the Residential Tenancies Act. Liaises to mediate and resolve problems. Plans and implements the day-to-day maintenance program to assess building and grounds conditions. Conducts regular inspections. Initiates repairs, upgrades, or improvements. Prepares and controls annual portfolio Operating Budget. Provides information in the preparation of the Capital Works Budget and monitors expenditures. Has signing authority to a $5,000 limit. Prepares purchase requisitions for bulk purchasing and controls the Maintenance Budget of $500,000. Directly supervises one Property Management Assistant. Coor.... |
