| PROGRAM ASSISTANT Position Type: Administrative Support IV Term: Full-Time Department: Iniskim Centre Date Posted: January 17, 2012 Closing Date: January 24, 2012 Description: Reporting to the Director, Iniskim Centre with day to day supervision provided by the Aboriginal Education Program Administrator, the Program Assistant is responsible for assistance with the overall administration of the Aboriginal Education Program. Duties: ? Provide administrative support and perform clerical duties ? Perform data entry and assist with general telephone, e-mail inquiries and word processing ? Maintaining a student related data base ? Administer and maintain records regarding program admission and attendance ? Assist with the coordination of information sessions, placement testing, program intakes, orientations and graduations ? Communicate regularly with Program Administrator regarding issues and concerns ? Organize program and course materials ? Assist with administrative tasks associated with the Aboriginal Education Program ? Complete data entry for instructor contracts ? Liaise with internal departments and University support services ? Attend/participate/support Iniskim staff meetings.... |
