| PL/SQL Developer Edmonton, AB Date Posted: January 20, 2012 Job ID: 20910 Job Description Eagle is currently seeking a PL/SQL Developer for a one (1) year contract opportunity, scheduled to begin in April. Key Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for: Working with other team members to design, develop, and deploy applications including creation of design, code, documentation, and unit tests; Assisting test, maintenance, and deployment teams throughout the project life cycle; Participating in peer reviews on specifications, designs, and code; Identifying development process improvements; Participating in the application implementation into System Test, UAT, Production, and Production Support; and, Learning and adapting to new development environments. Skills and Qualifications The qualified candidate must have: A Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalencies; A minimum of seven (7) years of work experience in PL/SQL web applications development; Experience with a RDBMS, particularly Oracle; Experience with Oracle spatial, PL/SQL, basic DBA skills; Experience with Apache HTTP server and Tomcat; Experience with Ant, CVS; Experience with Eclipse; Expe.... |
