| PC Support Specialist Department: Technology and Operations Date Posted: 1/17/2012 Position Type: FT Reference No.: 2012-1690 Become a member of our IT Desktop Computing group, and draw on your effective communication and organizational skills to support internal clients with software and hardware issues in an efficient manner. A proactive individual who keeps abreast of new industry technologies, you will assist in reducing problem calls by identifying trends, as well as support and maintain in-house computer systems, desktops and peripherals. Your diploma in Computer Technology or a relevant discipline is combined with 3 to 5 years of experience supporting desktop computers and software applications. In addition to knowledge of microcomputer systems and peripherals, web navigation, browsers and related Internet technology, you bring proficiency in Windows XP, Windows 2K, MS Office 2003/2007, Internet Explorer, MS Outlook/Exchange and Clientele. Excellent administrative, planning and prioritization skills round out your profile. Bilingualism (English & French) is an asset.
