| Location: Janetville, City of Kawartha Lakes, Ontario Two Full-time internship positions (March/April through till October/November) with a paid stipend ($357/month, can be increased based on persons experience), plus accommodations and food from the farm. ~ Learn organic vegetable production ~ Learn ecological animal husbandry, handling laying hens, cattle, meat birds, pigs, & horses ~ Have the opporitunity to develope farming skills ~ Work with Draft Horses ~ Attend CRAFT days (Collaborative Regional Alliance for Farmer Training) Lunar Rhythm Gardens is looking for interns who are enthusiastic about farming & hard work. We offer a diverse farm experience having both the livestock & vegetable production. Depending on their interests interns can gain skills in either area. Interns have the opporitunity to work in the greenhouse, in the field, harvest & prep vegetable for both market & CSA, attend markets, work with Draft Horses, tractors, hay, and the list goes on. They also have the opporitunity to use any literature or educational materials on hand to further explore their interests in farming.
