Category: Maintenance Position ID: J0112-0319 Job Type: Permanent Full Time Operating Engineer - 3rd or 4th Class Summary: Our cheese production plant located in the community of Winkler, Manitoba, requires a 3rd or 4th Class Operating Engineer to be responsible for the economical operation and preventative maintenance of our plant and steam systems. Job Duties: ? Perform routine preventative maintenance, repair and trouble-shooting with emphasis on boilers, refrigeration equipment, pumps and motors; ? Timely and accurate completion of required documentation to comply with legislation, health and safety regulations and GMP and HACCP standards; ? Contribute as part of a team of skilled trades to improve operational efficiencies, equipment reliability and reduce costs; Required Qualifications: ? A valid 3rd or 4th Class Power Engineer certificate is a prerequisite; refrigeration certification is considered an asset; ? At least 3 years of operating engineering and preventative maintenance experience within an industrial plant or food processing operation preferred; ? Current knowledge of, or demonstrated ability to be trained .... |
