Halton Healthcare Services Posting #: 2012-669686 Position: Occupational Therapist Department: Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit Status: Casual (shifts as needed) Hours: Monday to Friday - 0830 - 1630 (Hours are subject to change based on operational needs.) Site: Oakville Responsibilities: A team member for the Rehabilitation Unit providing assessments and treatments to neurological, surgical, medical and geriatric patients. Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants, students and volunteers. Qualifications: Must be licensed with the College of Occupational Therapy of Ontario Member of CAOT preferred Minimum of up to one year experience in rehabilitation and or neurology preferred Cognitive/perceptual assessment and treatment skills required Strong interpersonal and leadership skills required Must be flexible and show an ability to work collaboratively with all team members Splinting, ADL, seating and modality aid skills preferred Knowledge and experience in FIM and other outcome measures preferred NDT training and ADP certification preferred Must be physically able to manage a moderately heavy job Satisfactory employment and attendance.... |
