| Position Title: Occupational Health Nurse Competition Number: OOS-12-091 Status: Full-Time Temporary - Duration: Anticipated for approximately 12 months FTE: 1.0 Department: Workplace Health and Safety Position Type: Both Position Description/ Required Qualifications: The Occupational Health Nurse in the Workplace Health & Safety department is a professional position reporting to the Lead, WH&S Services. Working with a high degree of Independence, this position implements programs and processes, and provides advice and direction to clients within its specialty function and scope. Responsibilities and duties include: ? Delivering programs and services to staff and line managers including: ? Immunizations ? Occupational Health assessments ? Blood and body fluid exposure follow up ? Communicable disease follow up ? Employee/Family Assistance Program awareness ? WCB reporting process awareness ? Fit testing ? Other consultation/duties as required Qualifications: ? A minimum of a Nursing diploma with RN designation and appropriate license. Undergraduate Nursing Degree and OHN(C) designation is preferred. If OHN(C) not present, commitment to complete within four years must be provided in.... |
