| OPERATIONS SUPPORT COORDINATOR - DWQMS SALARY RANGE : $60,911 to $76,137 (Pay Grade 6) NOTE: Applicants will be considered for interviews based on the information provided in their application to the Region of Halton including a current resume and cover letter. We thank all applicants for their interest, however only those under consideration will be contacted. THIS POSITION IS BEING OFFERED ON A PERMANENT FULL-TIME BASIS WORKING 35 HOURS PER WEEK. PREFERRED BACKGROUND: Reporting to the Regulatory Compliance Coordinator, this position requires postsecondary education from an accredited University or College in Environmental Engineering or a related field. A minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience working with Quality Management Systems in a municipal environment is preferred. Certification as a Quality Technician is strongly preferred. A demonstrated understanding of Risk Analysis and how it relates to the development and maintenance of a quality management system is critical. Knowledge of the principles and practices of the physical, chemical, and biological aspects of water systems is preferred.
