| Job Title: Nurse in Charge Job ID: 9232 Location: Norman Wells Department SHSSA Health Centres Return to Previous Page Department Information Sahtu Health & Social Services Authority, Monica Loomis Health Centre, Norman Wells Job Information SCOPE The SHSSA administers all regional health and social services delivered to 4 Community Health Centres and 1 Community Health Station, in the Sahtu Region of the NWT, with approximately 2,475 (2006 census) residents. The SHSSA provides and supports the delivery of health care services to adults and children on a short term observation, outpatient and outreach basis, in order to enhance healthy communities well being through excellence, accountability and respect for regional diversity. Located within the Monica Loomis Health Centre, and reporting directly to the Manager, Health Service, SHSSA, the Nurse in Charge (NIC) will manage the delivery of community health services, with three CHN positions, who deliver core community health services, to a client population of approximately 761 residents in Norman Wells.
