The successful candidate, reporting to the Editor-in-Chief, will lead the transformation of an organizational structure and operating model to a complimentary digital approach, aimed at developing new products that drive audience growth and increase community engagement. He/she will work closely with other managers, employees and departments to build unique and exceptional digital and mobile products. The News Editor will be responsible for content, quality of content and product initiatives across the papers’ digital and mobile platforms, while also adding value to the print edition. The position requires not only a thorough knowledge of the production of a print newspaper but also a sophisticated knowledge of digital platforms and working in a rapidly evolving environment.
