This contract position is projected to be twelve (12) months in length and begin February 2012. Key Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for: Ensuring continuing functionality of LAN/WAN and maintain networking Infrastructure technology; supporting and troubleshooting network problems; provide maintenance, configuration of communications networks; Troubleshooting and diagnosing network errors or failures; maintaining and configuring Cisco and Juniper networking hardware, configuring multi-layer switches in LAN environment; and performing upgrades to network equipment as necessary; Monitoring system and network elements using diagnostic tools and troubleshooting procedures; performing diagnostics of network hardware and software components; and, Maintaining documentation of routine maintenance, systems configuration, applications, and technical reference material, and performing general systems administration and security functions.
